Recently graduating in December 2024 from the Registered Massage Therapist Program at
First College in Kelowna, he is awaiting the March board examinations to become a licensed
RMT. Currently he is unable to bill treatments through benefit plans, and until then, Chris is
looking forward to helping people reach and beat their physical goals by offering treatments at a
greatly discounted rate.
Born and raised in the Okanagan, being active has always been a part of life. Riding bikes as a
kid became a passion, racing competitive BMX nationally, evolving to freestyle at a semi-
professional level, and eventually to recreational mountain biking on all the trails BC has to offer.
Riding bikes can be hard on a body, and significant injury led Chris to a career in helping others
in their own recovery.
With a long background in industrial machining, and his own personal recovery from major
injuries, Chris has a unique perspective, and each case is specifically patient based using
various assessment and therapeutic massage techniques, including myofascial and deep tissue
as well as Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation. There is no denying that sometimes a
massage just feels good, and can help get you over the next hurdle too. Chris believes that a
full-spectrum approach can provide the greatest benefit and support, working with your existing
programs and practices, integrating new ones, and developing a homecare program to
maximize and maintain your progress.
You can often find Chris out riding, or fixing his bikes (even in the winter), or making something delicious in the kitchen.

Vanessa graduated from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in 2008. Her passion lies in working with active and athletic individuals, from weekend warriors and avid gym goers to professional athletes. Her focus is in rehabilitation and corrective care of injuries.
Vanessa was the RMT for the Okanagan College Coyotes hockey team from 2009-2012, and has worked at sporting events such as Gran Fondo, BMO Marathon Okanagan and IRONMAN events. She has also worked with professional hockey players, competitive figure skaters, swimmers, dancers and crossfit athletes.
Vanessa’s philosophy is that pain happens for a reason and feels it is important to ask the question, “Why?”. Whether the issue stems from injury or improper movement patterns, the key to finding the answer is assessment. Vanessa’s goal is to get to the root of the problem instead of only providing symptomatic relief. She has taken continuing education courses such as Movement Pattern Assessment and Corrective Exercise Training and Injury as well as all three levels of Neurokinetic Therapy and RockTape. Vanessa feels active rehab and home care is essential and as important as treatment itself.
Vanessa’s passion for sports comes from being a competitive figure skater for 18 years and very active throughout her life. She has found new interests in pilates, cycling and weight training and has completed The Ride to Conquer Cancer 3 years in a row.
